The things people ask before booking.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Scanning the QR opens a normal web page. There is no app store step, no account, and no password — which is exactly why people who would otherwise ignore it actually take part.

What if the venue has bad signal?

Photos queue on the phone and upload themselves when signal returns. Guests do not have to retry anything. This matters most at golf courses, farms and marquees, which is what it was built around.

Can I stop something inappropriate reaching the screen?

Yes, two ways. You can pull any photo off every screen in the room in two taps from your phone. Or we can set the event so that nothing appears until you approve it — the slideshow only ever shows photos you have cleared.

Who owns the photos?

You do. You get every original at full resolution in one download. We do not licence, sell or reuse them.

How long do you keep them?

For the retention period on your plan — 30 or 90 days, or longer by arrangement. After that they are deleted. If you want them kept longer, say so before the event and we will set it up.

What do I need at the venue?

A screen and something to drive it — a laptop, a smart TV browser, or anything that opens a web page. Open the slideshow link, put it full screen, and leave it.

How many guests can upload at once?

As many as you have. There is no per-guest charge and no seat limit. The plans differ on how many photos are kept, not how many people can join.

Can guests download the photos too?

They can browse the gallery and save individual photos. The full download of every original is restricted to you by default, since that is the whole event in one file — we can open it up to guests if you would rather.

Can I set it up myself?

Yes. Create an account, enter your event name and date, and the QR code is ready to download before you close the tab. Events start as drafts so you can test everything, then you open uploads when you are ready. If you would rather we did it, send us the details instead.

What is the moderator password for?

It lets whoever is watching the screen moderate without needing your account. You will often be busy on the night, so you can hand it to someone else without handing over your login. You can issue a new one at any time, which immediately stops the old one working.

How far ahead do you need to know?

If you are setting it up yourself, minutes — nothing stops you creating an event the morning of. If you want us to do it, or want custom QR artwork, a few days is comfortable.
